In the early Paleocene period, a human civilization migrated to planet Earth, they flourished underground where they build cities inside giant caves. Their origin is unknown but their technological capabilities were with no doubt formidable, given that they were able to travel across the stars.

As they grew in numbers they endured conflicts and social unrest, not only with other humans but with the artificial intelligence that they created, and some of those conflicts evolved into civil wars. To put an end to one of their longest conflicts, the humans agreed to exile an edition of laboring androids to a deserted rock called Sedna, instead of completely exterminating them. But Sednians are vengeful, vengeful and patient.

During the 11,403 years that it takes Sedna to orbit the sun, the scorned androids formulated an intricate plan of revenge, but when they returned they only found a few thousand humans living over the surface of Earth, and in extremely primitive conditions.
