In the year 2274 (SOC Universe), after almost a century had passed since the race to find the fountain of youth started in The Milky Way, scientists from Arcturus B at the annual Transhumanist Convention, unveiled a technology capable of reanimating corpses that had been preserved frozen or in a state of suspended animation. While not considered an accomplishment of their main goal, the fountain of youth, it was considered a fountain of hope in the quest to prolong the lifespans of all species.
